HIAL Start- Up Pitching Festival 1.0

Ladakh’s first ever pitching and mentoring fest, HIAL Start- Up Pitching Festival 1.0, organized specially for entrepreneurs from the Himalayan region, kicked off at an altitude of 11,500 feet above sea level at our campus between 14th and 17th November. The festival was marked with participation of young and dynamic entrepreneurs from various fields who came and pitched their unique ideas that promised to directly benefit the communities of the Himalayan region, specially Ladakh, to a panel of eminent jury and mentors.

The participants were given in-depth knowledge and mentoring in the following areas by the respective domain experts in the first 3 days , which helped them refine and perfect their idea and pitch:
– Business Governance
– Inclusive Leadership for team building
– Market Intelligence
– Business Canvas Modelling and Financial Planning
– Marketing & Branding
– People Management
– Pitch Deck Preparation + Presentation and Networking skills

At the end of the pitching festival, four entrepreneurs were awarded HIAL SWITCH’s incubation and investment support for their unique business ideas. The festival was supported by SIDBI, which has partnered with HIAL to set up Ladakh’s first incubation centre at our Campus.
